The most up-to-date, effective tech stack on the market:
From novice to next-level, our Data Analytics course will give you the fundamental skills you need for the fast-paced world of Data Analytics.
With more jobs than ever requiring data skills, our Data Analytics course will get you career-ready in a way that you’re ready for. Not for the fainthearted, you'll go from writing single-line scripts to weaving captivating narratives with data.
What you'll learn at our Data Analytics Course
Your journey into learning involves much more than just technical skills – it begins with building a strong foundation for your long-term success. In the very first week, you’ll connect with fellow participants, learn how to make the most of the course, and gain an overview of the IT industry and potential career paths. You’ll also discover how to use artificial intelligence as a productive tool – without falling into misuse.\nRight after that, you’ll dive into the world of data analytics: You’ll gain a clear understanding of the role and responsibilities of data analysts, the stakeholders they collaborate with, and the significance of their work. In addition, you’ll be introduced to the key tools that will later become part of your professional toolkit.
In the second part of your training, you’ll explore the fundamentals of descriptive statistics – an essential tool for structuring and clearly presenting large data sets without losing track. At the same time, you’ll practice using Google Sheets professionally and discover handy features that speed up your workflow. Our coaches will also teach you smart tricks for impactful presentations as well as proven problem-solving methods that will help you navigate even complex projects with confidence.
Now it’s time to get hands-on: Together, we’ll set up your working environment and prepare your computer so you can start coding like a pro. You’ll learn how to navigate the command line with confidence and install Python in your own conda environment. Along the way, you’ll understand the concept of virtual environments, create them yourself, and use tools for package and library management.\nNext, you’ll work in an IDE (Integrated Development Environment), get familiar with Python syntax, and learn essential concepts such as data types, data structures, variables, loops, conditionals, and functions. With your new ability to read and write pseudocode, you’ll put your skills into practice right away by creating your first small Python program.
You’re now deeply immersed in the subject and ready to explore exploratory data analysis (EDA). This method helps you examine datasets whose structure and relationships are not yet well understood. You’ll learn how to collect, extend, and clean data using Pandas DataFrames. Along the way, you’ll combine different datasets, handle missing values, and apply your knowledge from descriptive statistics (Phase II) to extract meaningful insights.\nYou’ll also discover what KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are and create your own metrics. Finally, our coaches will show you how to present your results visually: Using the Matplotlib and Seaborn libraries, you’ll design clear charts and plots that make your analyses easy to understand.
In this phase, you’ll level up from describing data to drawing solid, data-driven conclusions. You’ll start by exploring probability distributions and understanding how data behaves in real-world contexts. Then, we’ll dive into confidence intervals and how they help estimate population parameters.Next, we’ll guide you through the logic and application of hypothesis testing and how A/B tests are used in product and marketing decisions – an essential skill for any data analyst working in real-world environments. But we won’t stop there. You’ll get hands-on with clustering techniques to group and segment data – ideal for finding hidden patterns. And finally, you'll be introduced to linear regression, a foundational modeling technique used to predict and explain relationships between variables.Through coach-led sessions, hands-on exercises, and real examples, you’ll learn how to go from observing patterns to making confident decisions and predictions with data.By the end of this phase, you’ll not only understand the "what" and "why" – but also the "how" of applying statistical thinking to real business problems.
Before heading into the final stretch, you’ll dive into the world of databases together with the other participants. You’ll get familiar with the fundamental concepts and structures and learn how to connect to a provided PostgreSQL database using DBeaver. You’ll understand the SQL syntax and learn how to build a query step by step.\nWith the help of code-along scripts and additional exercises from our coaches, you’ll put your knowledge into practice right away and deepen your SQL execution skills. You’ll also gain an overview of key elements of modern data infrastructures and design your first star schema. Sounds complex? Don’t worry – we’ll guide you through it step by step.
In Phase 7, you'll work with API keys to connect to APIs. We'll teach you how to automate multiple calls with different parameters. In addition, you'll learn to execute SQL queries from Python and practice reading the documentation to understand limits, request and response formats. Heard about JSON files? We'll show you how to access them and extract data from them. With all the skills you've learned so far, you'll then run a project to solidify your knowledge. You'll do this with agile tools to organize the project as perfectly as you will later on in your job!
A crucial part of a data analyst’s work is presenting insights in a clear and engaging way. In the final phase before your graduation exam, you’ll learn how to connect to data sources and perform initial explorations. Step by step, you’ll get comfortable with the Tableau environment.\nYou’ll practice filtering and grouping data, creating calculated fields, and using parameters. By the end of the bootcamp, you’ll also master LOD (Level of Detail) expressions and table calculations. As the highlight, you’ll build interactive dashboards that make complex analyses easy to understand and visually appealing.
Because we’re 100% convinced that knowledge sticks best through practical application, during the last four weeks of your Data Analytics Bootcamp you’ll pour all your skills into your digital ‘masterpiece.’ From this point on, you can officially call yourself a Data Analyst. Congrats! 🙌🏼
Our doors remain open for personal career sessions (providing we have capacity). You’ll also have lifetime access to our Slack channel, which keeps you connected to thousands of Spicedlings throughout your career. Plus, you’re always invited to join graduations and events to reconnect with the community!
If you're interested in our further training and would like to learn more before you begin, please feel free to attend one of our information sessions and see which topic is right for you.
