To kick things off, you set up your development environment using VS Code, the command line, and Git, and take your first steps in the Python programming language. At the same time, you dive straight into AI project management by familiarizing yourself with the AI project lifecycle. From day one, you structure your workflow using agile methods such as Scrum, Kanban, and Miro.
In this phase, you will learn professional data processing using SQL as well as the Python libraries Pandas and NumPy. You will conduct a comprehensive exploratory data analysis—including data cleaning—to identify valuable patterns in raw data. You will then combine the insights gained with strategic stakeholder management and present your findings through data-driven storytelling.
You lay the foundation for classical machine learning and train algorithms for regression and decision trees using scikit-learn. In the process, you learn to rigorously evaluate model quality using mathematical metrics and optimize the balance between bias and variance. You translate these technical concepts directly into business practice by turning requirements into agile user stories and measurable OKRs.
This phase bridges the gap between product conceptualization and the legal and structural frameworks governing modern software. You will gain a fundamental understanding of software architecture and engage deeply with the requirements of the GDPR and the EU AI Act. Using Design Thinking, you will synthesize this knowledge to strategically plan your core machine learning data product.
Now it is time for the active technical implementation and construction of the ML model for your main project. You will expand your skillset to include advanced modeling techniques—such as feature engineering and powerful ensemble methods in scikit-learn—and refine your model through continuous feasibility analyses and performance optimizations until you have a deployment-ready data product.
You learn to strategically evolve AI products and use A/B testing frameworks to validate new features in a live environment. At the same time, you venture into deep learning and explore artificial neural networks for processing more complex data structures. At the management level, you master effort estimation and prioritization, and develop long-term, strategic product roadmaps.
Here, you will dive deep into generative AI and learn how to optimally deploy Large Language Models for business use cases through prompt engineering. You will design autonomous AI agents and build RAG systems that are linked to real corporate data in a standardized way using the Model Context Protocol. In the process, you will utilize "vibe coding" with AI assistants to rapidly develop modern system architectures and functional prototypes.
For the bootcamp finale, you generate and validate your own idea for a capstone project through targeted user research and rapid prototyping. In the subsequent, intensively coached capstone sprints, you develop this flagship project—independently and using agile methods—for your personal portfolio. The phase concludes with targeted preparation for the final presentation, where you proudly unveil your finished AI product.
