What is the final project useful for?
CyanoScan is a machine learning model that can predict the severity of harmful cyanobacteria blooms in lakes. This is achieved by using a combination of publicly available data, such as satellite imagery, weather data and elevation data. One of the main challenges of this project was the integration of these data sources into a high-accuracy model.
