The risk of wildfires and how to assess it

The United States are burning: We are analyzing two decades (1995-2015) of wildfire and weather data to investigate the relationship between temperature, precipitation, and wildfire occurrences. Our goal is simple: to contribute to US firefighting and wildfire mitigation efforts. We identify peak fire months by state, common causes of wildfires.
