Admissions Manager (m/w/d)

Berlin, full-time

The Job

As Admissions Manager, you’ll own the entire application process, from ‘first contact’ through to ‘enrollment’. You’ll ultimately be measured on the quality and quantity of students that join Spiced, as well as the quality of the experience of becoming a Spicedling.
You’ll know you’ve succeeded when classes are filled with happy and motivated students. You’ll know you’ve exceeded expectations when Spicedlings rave about how supported they felt, and how much fun they had, while enrolling on a Spiced training programme.

The Team

  • You’ll be part of the Operations Team in Berlin, reporting to our Head of Operations. You’ll be working with a diverse, international team of experienced, motivated and talented individuals.
  • You will work closely with the Marketing team to ensure we have lots of high quality applicants, with the Program Manager to create a fantastic first experience for the incoming Spicedlings and lastly, you’ll work closely with the Quality Manager on running student interviews and coordinating correspondence with Agentur für Arbeit.

You will

  • Manage the admissions process across our 4 locations (Berlin, Köln, Hamburg & Stuttgart), with the opportunity to travel and participate in various on-campus events
  • Become a master at articulating the Spiced vision, mission and program details
  • Be the ‘first point of contact’ for candidates inquiring about programs
  • Personally manage the end-to-end process for student admissions
  • Conduct student interviews and make admission decisions
  • Prepare offers and manage contract processes
  • Track and continuously update candidate status
  • Communicate and manage administration with Agentur für Arbeit
  • Compile metrics reports related to admissions and communicate them to the wider team especially marketing operations and coaching with whom youll work closely
  • Work with campus and program management, supporting them in the delivery of ‘Welcome’ and ‘Graduate’ events
  • Collaborate with teachers to improve admissions quality, and to ensure that all enrollment messaging is up to date and accurate
  • Continuously improve the admission experience for applicants
  • Attend and support marketing and community events, open days, and other admissions-related activity

You are

  • Experience in customer service, recruitment, school admissions and/or sales
  • Excellent and empathetic communicator, both verbal and written
  • Proactive, responsive, well-organized and a team player
  • Passion for education and familiarity with the tech field
  • Willing to travel
  • Fluent English, and German
